It is always interesting to consider the beginnings of things. This site is born out of the tumult of life during the Covid19 pandemic, against the backdrop of the Black Lives Matter movement, and in a time when a favourite author speaks out against trans people.
I am tired of seeing women (and those who identify as women) who dare to take up space online, who use social networks, who are hassled, harassed, mansplained to, and generally irritated by folks who think they know more than women do.
I am wanting to find the feisty and opinionated working women, the ones who are too loud or too much for many folks on traditional social media. I want to find the rational thinkers, women who appreciate things like science, the arts, vaccines and the facts.
I’m not sure where this is going. But I am sure it is going somewhere.
